Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

5 months ago my boyfriend was on his way to his second job panda express on the way there he started to feel very dizzy and his nose started to bleed. He went inside to tell the manager that he couldnt work like that on his way he found himself his co worker the kitchen cook that was waiting to switch turns with my boyfriend, even though he saw that my boyfriend was bleeding he said "bye the manager is waiting for mushroom chicken so hurry" my boyfriend then saw that the front cashiers where calling many items to be cooked. The manager comes over and said "juan whats wrong hurry up" my boyfriend let her know that he was feeling very bad and he didnt think it was ok for him to work with a bleeding nose she said that she didnt have another kitchen cook and if he wanted to leave he had to be responsible to find a replacement and he tryied to find one with no sucess so then she told him he had no chice he had to stay.My boyfriend was scared that if he didnt stay he would loose his job and so he stuck a piece of toilet on his nose washed his hands and got to work. He never said anything to any type of law because he was very scared to be fired, and since the manager would threaten all her workers she would fire anyone.
