i am a senior who has worked on the same job for several years , due to constant verbal sexual harassment i was forced to leave . sexual harassment by the manger. in formed employer , at no prevail thank you

Sexual harrassment is a very serious tort. If a reasonable person in your position would have resigned because of it you may also have a wrongful termination suit. You would be entitled to lost wages, general damages (pain and suffering), potentially punitive damages, and, worker's compensation benefits for the stress claim filed simultaneousely with the civil action. What you consider sexual harrassment, and what the law considers sexual harrassment, could be two different things. What he may have done was create a hostile environment, which still might be actionable. I would need more facts to determine if you have a case.

You should contact an attorney near where you live and also make an appointment to speak with an investigator in your local office of the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. They investigate claims likes yours and this is a first step before you could bring a lawsuit. There is a one year statute of limitations, which means that you need to contact and file a complaint with DFEH within a year from your termination of employment.
