Legal Question in Social Security Law in California

CONVICTED OF FELONY AND ON SSA LOOSE THEM WHILE IN JAIL, BUT DO THEY RESUME WHEN

If you are convicted of a felony and receiving ssa benefits, and have to do 4 months in jail, I know that you do not receive benefits while in jail, but do they resume when you get released.
