After divorce tax deduction

I found out I got listed as being the only one on the mortgage when my ex died. His trustee sent in the birth certificate and said nothing about divorce proceedings or his estate. So now what happens tax wise. The house is sold. Can i personally write off all of the interest since I am listed on the mortgage. what she did feels shady. I was never notified that she didn't tell me about the mortgage.

I am not certain of what the issue is here. Were you divorced? Where you a joint owner of the property before? I would need a bit more information to give a reasonable answer.
