Legal Question in Tax Law in California
IRS Collection - VA Disability exempt from calculations?
The IRS has garnisheed my wages and is insisting on using my veterans disability (1969 award date) in its calculations figuring total income. From everything I have read VA disability is exempt from income calculations. I need statute reference if indeed it is considered to be non countable as income.
