Reassessment of payment to IRS

I am currently paying the IRS 500 a month in repayment of taxes i owed for back taxes + penalties and interest. since this agreement, my rent has increased 200 per month and the state has assessed a repayment of 150.00 per month. this 350.00 increase in my monthly living expenses has taken a toll my other monthly bills. Will the IRS consider a smaller payment (reduced by my increase) at least until the state is paid in full?

Perhaps ... you will need to provide them with detailed info regarding your situation, and perhaps fax to them numerous items to support your claims.
