Legal Question in Tax Law in California

Tax evasion

I got married less than a year ago and just found out that my new husband has not filed tax returns or reported any income to the IRS in at least 13 years. He refused to give me the information needed for us to file jointly this year so I have filed my returns as married but separate. I also filed a Fom 9434 A to report the evasion, and hopefully protect myself. Is there anything else, other than filing for divorce immediately, that I need to do for my own protection. Can the IRS still come after me for any reason even though I had no knowledge of the situation?
