Tax issues with house deed

My parents and I are on the deed to our home. My father passed away and my mother and I want to get his name removed from the deed. Are there any tax consequences for doing so?

yes. you should retain a qualified attorney who is experienced with post-death administration of estates (whether or not probate is required) and with related estate, income and real property tax issues.
