Legal Question in Telecomm Law in California
Internet Privacy
Is it ever illegal to post someone's home address on an internet forum? Suppose someone uses their full name and business address on the forum, then someone else digs up this person's home address and posts it with the singular intent of showing what his residence is valued at?

Re: Internet Privacy
Yes, it may amount to cyber-stalking, which is a crime in some jurisdictions. It also may amount to an actionable invasion of privacy.
Finally, you don't want to be responsible if someone gets the address from your posting, and then harms the family in their home... karma's a bitch
