Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Hi. I am 40 and haven't had any moving violation (not even a parking ticket) since 1998. I got pulled over for going 51 in a 35 in an area that is a "speed trap" according to what I found on the speedtrap.org website. There's a quick down-slope and it's so easy to go over 35. I wasn't even trying to rush anywhere. I feel like it's unfair. I know legally I was over 35 but it feels like a scam if that makes sense.
If I fight this in court and lose, do I forfeit my right to go to traffic school?

You may or may not be able to go to traffic school but if you go to traffic school you are still likely to get points against your record.
