Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

22107 unsafe turn

I made a L turn into driveway from central lane after signaling left and stopping to let the uncoming traffic pass. Stopped the car to pick my mail from the mail box. Cop behind me yelled at me to ''don't move'' with gun pointed at me. Never saw him or the car. Turned head back, saw cop with gun drawn and ready to shoot. I listen to his comand, got back in car. Gave me a ticket for unsafe turn. Never saw cop behind me, when I turned my head I saw cop car lights on. He said after complain to sheriff office that he was scared of me that's why he pulled his gun on me. I could have been dead now. Got to go to court fight ticket. I engaged in middle lane appropriately, signeled, stopped and then proceded to make left turn. How can I defend myself and fight his lie?

You may wish to retain an attorney to represent you at the trial. This will allow you to fully investigate the officer's story about what he saw and why he pulled out his gun. This officer should receive more training, and if that does not resolve his issues he should be removed from the police force.
