Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
My 18 year old was in Santa Barbara, CA and was walking on the street with an unopened beer can in his pocket. He was given a ticket for Minor in Possession but lives too far away to attend court. What are his options?

Write the court and ask them the amount of the fine and if they will dismiss action upon payment of fine, and the time limit to take care of this matter. give them your nae, date of incident and reference number if any.
