Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Accident - neither party has insurance!!!!
I was involved in an accident, my fault, and the other party did not want to involve the police when they arrived, and subsequently dismissed them. no police report (formally) was filled out. i was at fault, and want to make good, but i am getting the feeling that the other party has no insurance and does not have a leg to stand on. i do want to take care of business, but i am not well off at all, and i did hit a high $$ car. now what?
