Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Auto Accident - Yellow Light - Right of Way

I was involved in an auto accident last Dec. I was driving straight through a yellow light when a lady made a left turn (while on her cell phone) in front of me. The front of my car hit the front passenger side of her car. The police report & the one witness both agree the conditions were clear - the light was yellow - neither car was speeding - & that she was distracted, talking on her phone. She is trying to say I am at fault, but I believe she is, as does the police report - she should have yielded to oncoming traffic. Am I correct? The witness has changed his story from what he told the officer - saying that because the lanes around me (a left & right turn lane)had time to stop, that I must be at fault. Her insurance company is refusing to pay my medical bills, etc. Who is correct, and where do I go from here.

A jury determines fault. An attorney argues fault. I will argue that the other driver is at fault and make a claim for property damage (car repair bills, rental care bills) and your medical bills, pain and suffering, lost earnings, and, lost earning capacity. It is worth hiring a lawyer. Especially when most attorneys would take the case on a contingency basis. An experienced attorney knows how to get what you deserve.
