Can I get a parking ticket for parking across and blocking my own driveway?

Thanks for your posting. Blocking a driveway is a violation of the vehicle code, no matter who does it or who the owner of the driveway is. Having said that, you may be able to have any citations dismissed or reduced by presenting proof of residence, and that it was your driveway. Some prosecutors, or judges, may be willing to reduce or dismiss based upon that information. Best of luck.
