Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

my boyfriend is facing 4 counts of charges. 1. driving under the influence of alcohol over .08 2. driving under the influence of drugs 3. hit and run 4. driving on suspended license. what will happen to him with these charges? Also he wants me to say I was driving, what will happen to me in that case?

Without knowing all the fact of the case and if your boyfriend has any priors it is hard to say, however one thing is for sure, your boyfriend needs to talk to an attorney in his area.
