Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

CA law says straight is right of way but what happens when a speeding car hits a

Driver A made a left hand turn out of a driveway when the road was clear. Driver B was speeding in a 35mph zone. Driver B was going so fast he/she was not able to react to Driver A completing his/her turn. Driver B collided into the driver's side of Driver A's car sending Driver A to the hospital via ambulance and totalling Driver A's car. Driver B was going so fast his/her vehicle rolled over after hitting Driver A. Driver B was able to walk away from the accident, though. Is it advisable for driver A to sue Driver B for pain and suffering and lost wages? Driver A has been told by others that it would be a difficult case because Driver B had the right of way. Driver B was speeding, though, when the accident occurred. What are the rights of Driver A in this situation?
