car accident with no insurance
My friend had an accident in Hollywood of California. He was making a left turn and hit the car which was going to opposit way. The light was green ( not arrow light). The guy was injured (i don't know how bad he was injured, but he could walk after the accident). My friend didn't have insurance. Police came and reported the accident and took off. He received a case number, but he has not heard anything from injured person yet. What's going to happen next?

1. Your Friend has to defend and pay for the lawsuit from the other driver.
2. Your Friend will have to pay his own health care bills, unless he has health insurance, and maybe even then.
3. Your Friend will have his driver's license suspended, and his car registration cancelled, for driving without insurance.
