Car Accident
i was invloved in an auto accident that was the result of an obstacle in the road. is this something i can bring suit against the city for?

The answer to your question would depend upon what was in the street, how it got into the street, had it been reported to the city, and how long it had been in the street. The statute of limitations for filing a claim against a government agency it 6 months. You should file a claim with the city within that time. You should either retain counsel to assist you in this or review the government tort claims law for California.
