Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I was in a car accident while making a left turn into a parking lot. I got hit from the side and it was a bad crash my car is totaled. The police did not see the crash. I had insurance. I got an infraction for Failing to yield until safe. and a misdemeanor for driving without a license. I cant get a license. This is my 4th time for driving with out a license. The last one was 8 months ago. I dont have a criminal record or on any kind of parole. What is the posibility of me going to jail?

Your chances of jail are getting better and better each time....especially with an accident. Speak to an attorney. They usually offer FREE consultations. You have nothing to lose and you may learn a lot. I wish you well....David Wallin
You were arrested 3 times before for the misdemeanor crime of driving without a license, and you think you don't have a criminal record? That's hard to believe. It's going to be an uphill battle to convince the judge why you didn't learn anything from your three previous experiences. You are flirting with permanent revocation of your driving privilege in California.
Good thing you had insurance. Remember to file a Form SR-1 with DMV and for goodness sake hire a lawyer well in advance of your first court date. I'm here to help.
