Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Do I have a case againt officers/did they have a reason to pullover

I was pulled over by a Grass Valley Police Office at 11:30pm. When the officer pulled behind me at a red light, (never seeing me drive) as soon as the light turned green he put his lights on me. When he came to my window I asked him why I was being pulled over and he said because I was swerving. HE never saw me drive. Never once did he ask me if I had anything to drink or any questions regarding why I would be swerving. He was writng me a ticket for driving on a suspen. and another officer pulled up asked me to get out of car and then said to the officer writing the ticket ''Doesnt this car reek like pot, It didnt I dont smoke pot. Im 40 years old and just got off work at a restaurant. Never asked if he could search my car, but continued to search inside backseat, trunk and under the hood. I dont have a record of anything but a failure to pay a speeding ticket. After the officer opened a sealed 2 liter pepsi bottle and threw it on my front passeng. seat with out the lid, whole thing spilled on my seat. He decided to have my car towed. Threatened that if I didnt find a ride he would take me to the jail and my dog to the impound. I got a ride and as I was waiting, he left me on a highway alone with my dog and all my stuff

You drove on a suspended license, the cops made you get out and walk, so what?

You may have the police officer may have been justified in pulling you over and giving your a ticket. Searching your car may have been justifies, but throwing a full 2 liter bottle of soda on the front seat and letting run out all over the car was not justified. File a claim with the police agency which his works for. Also search for an attorney that takes these cases. Only a few attorneys deal with these type of cases. Good luck.
