Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
confiscated dealer plate
Someone other than myself was driving my dealer car with a dealer plate and was pulled over, the sheriff confiscated the plate and said it would be returned in court however the case was dismissed because it was a ''fix it ticket'' for registration. How do I retrieve my plate?

Re: confiscated dealer plate
Contact the police department issuing the citation. If that is not successful then file a motion under PC 1538.5 for the return of your property.
