Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I am confused about the citation I received. The officer gave me a citation saying I was parked in a "No Parking Anytime" Zone. There is a red and white "No Parking Anytime" sign on the street. However I was not parked on the street, I was actually parked in the empty dirt lot that sits right along the street. I was under the impression that the "No Parking" signs were to regulate the traffic on those streets, and did not include the dirt lots or structures off the street. Could you please clarify because I would like to know if I could fight the citation...
