Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
It is considered entrapment when an officer sits in wait on a low lighted street with no lights on his police vehicle and then comes behind a motorist and claims they were speeding at 5:45am. ?

Definitely not. Your example might be considered a speed trap. Entrapment is when a police officer tried to convince some one into committing a crime and he is then arrested for that crime.
