Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
court appearance
I went from California to Estelline Texas to dispute a speeding ticket, and the court was closed because of a flood. I spent 350.00 in gas, and missed two days of work. The court didnt contact me to inform me of the court closure. I was to appear by the date on the ticket. Can I get this dismissed? I cant afford to return to dispute this ticket. I met my obligation to appear on or before the due date on the ticket, but the court was a ''no show''
