Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Disagree with failure to stop citation
I was issued a ticket for ''failure to stop'' at a 4-way stop sign. I told the police I did stop. He said, ''Yes, but you didn't come to a complete stop.'' To me, I did come to a complete stop before proceeding to turn left. It was safe. I disagreed with the ticket, especially his description of ''Failed to stop,'' which made it seem like I ran the stop sign. I want to fight this in court. What are my chances of winning?
