Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
DMV driving record
My son has received 4 points on his driving record. After much effort researching without luck, when do the points go against his record? My questions is: does the time (4 pts. within 1 year)count at the time of violation date or conviction date? If it's conviction as it should???(innocent until proven guilty) then his license should not be suspended, Thank you for your time,--name removed--H.
