Driving without a license.

Ive been fighting a case for a year.Its for driving without a license in California, Ventura County.What are the statue of limitations?How long untill the case gets dropped?

I've had cases in Ventura County for over 10 years. The D.A.'s office there does not believe in plea bargaining. I hope you have a good attorney. To get a case dropped, you'll need a highly qualified attorney and some good facts. There is no statute of limitations on how long a prosecution goes on, subject to the parties right to a speedy trial. If that is not waived then the matter must go to trial within a certain time.
