Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
driving with a suspended license
My 26 year old son had his license suspended due to 2 prior dui's. After completing his jail time, he was ordered to complete the 18 month dui classes in order to get his license back. He got caught driving, and received a driving on a suspended tivket. Will he be remanded to jail when he goes to court for this ticket?

He very well may be taken into custody if he is on probation now. The judge also has the power to jail him based only on his driving on suspended license.
