Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
failures to appear now warrants
I owe D R & R $1300 for fines, and have not held up my end of payment arrangement to collections. I was notified that two warrants will be issued due unless the total is paid. I am unable to pay the total, as $50 per month was not possible either. What can I do to clear the warrants? I could possibly borrow SOME money, but is there a way I can try to have them lower the amount? I receive aid, $540 monthly, 2 kids. please help!!!

Re: failures to appear now warrants
Contact the public defender regarding your problem and ask for assistance. Normally you would set the matter before the judge that made the order regarding the fines and request some relief. It is best to do that before the warrants arre issued.
