Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Fighting a Ticket in Court
I received a ticket for throwing a lighted substance out my window. However, I did not do it. The person who did do it is my friend but is afraid to come forward. If she comes forward and tells them that it was her and not me, will she be issued the ticket? The reason why I ask is because we were in separate cars and I wasn't the one who did that. My court date is May 1st and could really use some advice.

Re: Fighting a Ticket in Court
A Paul Buzzo Act violation is only an infraction, so if your friend decides to 'fess up she won't be in that much trouble.
