Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
I FTA on a misd (Ticket was for unlicensed driver and inc registration) and now there's a warrant. Website says warrant will remain in effect until appearnce is made or bail is posted; what does that actually mean? I'll be going to court in the morning, but I would like to know the most likely outcome?
(registration is now complete, working on paying fines to unsuspend license)

FIRST do not drive to court. It is a common practice for law enforcement to be in court and then follow you out of court to your car. Once you start to drive away the officer stops you and issues a citation, and may have the car towed and stored.
The most likely outcome is that you will released on OR. It would be prudent to have the ability to pay the bail when you go to court. If this is your first offense, often the court will give you additional time in which to obtain a valid driver's license and then the charge will be reduced to driving without a valid driver's license. If the court asks how long you need to get your license, make sure you get enough time to be certain you can get the license before the next court date. You will need to have the official license, not the temporary paper license.
