Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
My girlfriend was in a fender bender driving my car her Cdl was expired and my insurance had lapsed she did not know she had scraped the other ladies rental car their calling it a hit and run what do ido?

What do you do? Three things, in this order:
1. Get a lawyer. She is looking at misdemeanor charges that could potentially land her on probation, in jail and facing significant fines.
2. Get her license squared away ASAP. Fixing that may help in everyone's eyes.
3. Get insurance ASAP. While it won't cover the damage, again, demonstrating you're taking responsibility and squaring things away helps.
