Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

because I,m good

my fraind and I, we went to the park, and I have my car park, but i didn,t know the my fraind had a battle of beer open and I wasn't drinking,my car parked and I still getted ticket, why ?

I assume that the ticket was for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. You were driving the car and as such were responsible for the open container.
