Guilty but with an ecuse

I got a speeding ticket, and I was speeding, but I did so to get around a garbage truck that was dropping debris. This is my second ticket, and it says Im not eligable for traffic school. Would I be able to plea guilty with an excuse to try and get traffic school to avoid points on my license?

On these facts I would plead "not guilty" and take it to trial. Get ahold of the book "Fight Your Ticket" (nolo.com or a public library or courthouse law library) and follow the instructions including sending a written discovery request.
