Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Not guilty plea and court proceedures
FACT: If you plead not guilty in traffic court the full bail amount must be posted prior to hearing your case. Is this legal? Discrimination is my first thought. Please explain.

yes it is legal. you have the option of waiting for the trial in jail. if you win the case you get the bail back.
