Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

hit from behind,pushed into other lane and hi again/ni ins
i was driving on frwy, it came to a sudden stop, my brakes locked and i was hit from behind,i was pushed into the left lane, and was hit from behind from another driver(first driver left), when i pulled over, second driver and i exchange info, i assumed she was giving me all her info, but got only first name and cell phone number. i had given her all my info, i had no damage to my veh, and she had a golf size dent over headlight.i borrowed vech/w canceled ins,(owner was unaware he was canled), now i have her insur, company calling me insisting i make an accident report with dmv,(is accident my fault since i went into lane in front of her bfore she hit me?) and (should i comply to her ins company requests?)

first find out if your insurance company will cover this. if not, see a lawyer before doing anything else to go over your options.
