i was hit by a car

ok im 18 i was on a shopping cart coming out of vons i was in the walking lane when a black BMW struck me at ''5'' miles an hour i went to the hospital and my back still hurts i think he was on the cell phone how can i resolve this situation

Get all necessary medical attention. Don't speak to the person who hit you or their insurance company, don't sign anything, no statements! Get a lawyer on board without delay, and remember there are strict legal time limits. Hope to hear from you.
