Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Seen A hit and Run- Supeoned-do I have to?
This is about me mother. She seen a Hit and run and decided to follow the person who hit the other car(first mistake). She ended up seeing the driver(hitter) let about 4 guys out of the car and those men ran. In the end she had to show the offices who the driver was and recorded a statement. Now they have supeoned her into court and they is sfraid that they wil retaliate against her. One of the issues is that my sister goes to school with some of the children that are connected with the dealers. They are making threats. Did I mention that this incident happened over a year ago and since then my family has endured a lot of stress because of a few deaths in the family. Basically my mom is in a emotional state of mind where she really can't do this and wants to see if there was any way that she would not have to attend court? The date for court is the end of this week.
