Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
So I was hitting over 100 mph on the freeway, no good reason to be driving that fast :/. so I got pulled over with a ticket and I didn't have insurance on my hand and the only proof of insurance for the car are my dads insurance card which was at home. I heard I can go to the court clerk and show proof of insurance but would it be valid if it doesn't have my name on it? Also how much money will I be paying for this ticket? Also what's should I do since I have a meeting with the court and I'm like a kindergarten that doesn't know anything about what to say and do.

This is beyond a simple citation. If you're cited for going over 100, the court can suspend your driver's license in addition to a HUGE fine.
This is probably worth getting a traffic ticket attorney to handle.
