Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Howdy,
i showed up to court this morning, in order to take care of my red light ticket. They didnt have me on the docket when i got the the court room, so i went to register/check in. Anyhow, they told me that i wasnt in the system and that i would have to wait a month. Anyhow, I took the day off of work, because I signed the ticket right where it says that i promise to appear at the date and time below. Is it possible to "charge" the court/county for my lost wages, since they didnt hold up to their end of the deal?
thanks,
ed
