Impoperly Towed Vehicle

A security service towed my vehicle saying it was parked in the wrong space. But the vehicle was park along a residential street (of which i am resident of) where there are no designated spaces. Are they and/or the person who called them to tow it liable for the towing fees and/or damages for improperly towing my vehicle?

Thanks for your posting. The answer to your question is "maybe... but it's a little closer to "yes" depending upon how strong your proof is of where the vehicle was, and what the street signs say, and what was told the the tow truck driver.
