Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Impounded Vehicle
My vehicle in which I am the regestered owner was impounded when my husband was pulled over and found out his license has been suspended/revoked. The vehicle is insured as him and I under the policy. How do I get my vehicle back if I have no drivers license and his is suspended/revoked? Within a timely matter so that I may be able to obtain my vehicle back?

Re: Impounded Vehicle
It's my understandaing that the vehicle can only be returned to the registered owner. Most typically the registered owner is licensed.
You just need to contact the police agency and ask them if you come there with a licensed driver, will they release the vehicle to you.
They may not release it until 30-days because they could presume that you knew that he was not licensed.
