Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
impounded vehicles
my fiancee's car was impounded for driving without a liscense, but the person he was riding with had a liscense. shouldn't the police have let the person he was riding with, drive the vehicle back home for him? if not, is there a quick way to get the vehicle out of 30-day hold?

Re: impounded vehicles
The CHP impounded a car that was being driven by an unlicensed driver. A vehicle that is being driven by an unlicensed non-owner driver can be impounded.
