Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Lane Splitting
I was cited for unsafe speed CVC (Calif. Vehicle Code)22350 while splitting lanes on my motorcyle in traffic on the freeway. Traffic was flowing at approx 45 50mph I was travelling under the posted speed limit between 50-55mph. I can find nothing in the CVC prohibiting the splitting of lanes by motorcycles. How can I fight this citation?

Review the book "How to Fight Your Traffic Ticket" by Nolo Press. This bood should provide an approach for a defense of this charge.
