Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

I live in a condo where my (private) street has usually been understood to be one-way, but visitors often drive the other way to get out. One end of the street has a "do not enter" sign. Does this sign automatically, and legally, make this a one-way street? There's no mention of this in the condo's CCRs.

If there are two entrances to the street, and at one of the ends is a "Do Not Enter" sign, this might not necessarily make it a one-way street. As you observed, people sometimes drive the other way to get out. If the street is not marked, it likely is two-way, with entry at the posted end prohibited.
