Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

i missed my court date today...1/29/10...because i thought it was next friday. The case was for fare evasion, which is didnt buy a ticket to ride the Metro train. Am i going to get arrrested or sent to jail? what do i do or what can i do? =|

I'm not a criminal attorney. However, I've seen people show up in court ASAP and explain the situation to the judge, if you could be heard. The sooner the better would get you more understanding than if you were to wait a long time.
