My son hit a non-licensed, non-insured driver, that is a Mexico resident. Are we still liable for the damages?

Re: non licensed driver
If your son caused the accident, he would be responsible for the other driver's economic damages. This means cost of repairing the car, rental expense, medical bills incurred and wage loss incurred. The other driver would fall under Prop. 213. You can read more about Prop. 213 and the damages your son would be responsible for at my blog, www.calpiblog.com.
