Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

Police Officer Violating Vehicle Code

I recently got a ticket for crossing a double solid yellow line CVC 21651(a)(1). The officer that observed me was on a perpendicular street, parked on the sidewalk and on the wrong side of the street. The officer's street position is marked on the ticket.

Can I argue that the ticket be dismissed as the officer violated two CVC when he observed me? Here are the vehicle codes he violated: CVC 22500(f) Prohibited Stopping, Standing, or Parking Vehicle Parked on a Sidewalk and CVC 22502(b) Curb Parking Parked on Wrong Side of Street.

No, you can't. Law enforcement is exempt.
