Legal Question in Traffic Law in California
Is it O.K. for the police to stop you only for tinted windows?
Today I was stopped soley for tinted windows. Is tinted windows enough of a probable cause to be stopped?

Yes. Any violation of the Vehicle Code is sufficient reason to stop you.
And actually, they only need "reasonable suspicion" (a very low burden of proof) to stop and investigate. Probable cause deals with a slightly higher standard to search or arrest.
